In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity, Daryeel Bulsho, in collaboration with the Zamzam Foundation, distributed food to orphans at the Afgooye Orphanage Center in the Lower Shabelle region of South West State, Somalia. This initiative coincided with the 9th anniversary of Daryeel Bulsho, 25th September 20215 marking a significant milestone in the organization’s commitment to social service.
Instead of hosting a traditional celebration, Daryeel Bulsho chose to dedicate this special day to the orphans, feeding over 200 children. This initiative reflects the organization’s long-standing tradition of prioritizing community welfare over festivities. For the past nine years, rather than spending on anniversary celebrations, Daryeel Bulsho has consistently redirected those funds to assist the less fortunate.
“We believe in giving back to the community that has supported us,” said a representative from Daryeel Bulsho. “Every year, we have opted to feed those in need instead of celebrating with festival money. This is our way of honoring our commitment to social service.” Said Mohamed Ali Said, the chairman of Daryeel Bulsho.
The organization expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who have contributed to their mission over the past nine years. “We extend our thanks to institutions, banks, companies, hospitals, the press, individuals, and the Somali nation as a whole. Your support has been vital to our efforts,” the representative added.
Daryeel Bulsho’s work exemplifies the power of community collaboration and the importance of uplifting those in need. As they continue their mission, they remain dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable populations across Somalia
